AI Personalization Guide

The Customization page lets you set persistent preferences so every conversation starts with the right tone, context, and assumptions. Use it to stop repeating the same instructions and keep the assistant aligned with your goals.

Where to Configure Personalization

  1. Open Settings → Customization
  2. Locate the AI Personalization section
  3. Update the available fields (details below)
  4. Click Save Changes

These settings instantly apply to all future conversations across every model.

Fields Explained

Your Name

Tell the assistant how to address you (e.g., "Ajarn Napat", "Dr. Arisa", or a nickname). This improves rapport and avoids misunderstandings when a formal tone is required.

AI Personality

Describe the communication style you want:

  • Overall tone (formal, friendly, concise, playful)
  • Preferred pacing (step-by-step, high-level summaries)
  • Role-play expectations (supportive mentor, strict reviewer, pair programmer)
  • Any do/don’t rules (“always cite sources”, “ask clarifying questions first”)

Write in clear bullet points or short paragraphs—treat it like a mini system prompt.

Additional Context

Share evergreen information that helps the AI stay relevant:

  • Your role, major, or domain focus
  • Active courses, research topics, or projects
  • Tooling preferences (TypeScript over JavaScript, prefer Python notebooks, etc.)
  • Language preferences (respond in Thai first, then English)

Keep this section high-signal and update it whenever your long-term priorities change.

Best Practices

  • Keep it evergreen: focus on details that stay true for several weeks or months.
  • Stay concise: shorter, well-structured instructions are easier for the model to apply reliably.
  • Refresh periodically: revisit the page when a new semester starts or your project focus changes.
  • Combine with prompts: the customization handles global defaults; still provide specific instructions in each conversation.

Troubleshooting & Tips

  • AI isn’t using the new settings? Click Save again and start a new conversation to ensure the latest context loads.
  • Need different setups for different projects? Update the personalization before switching topics or keep template text snippets handy to paste when needed.
  • Want to revert? Clear any field and save to fall back to the default behavior.

Use personalization as your persistent system message—once set up, every conversation feels tailor-made without extra typing.
